What's been motivating you recently?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 29, 2008:

Responsibility - to the cats I have taken into my life to care for (somewhere between 50 and 100 of them), and for whom I need to provide the best care which I can. For their sakes, and then for my own, I am now attending college to gain the degree which will qualify me for a good career and a secure future. If not for the responsibility I bear the animals, I may have gone on suffering in silence for the rest of my life, instead of working to overcome my disability and get the education I desperately desire.

Hillora, I heard recently about Open Hearts, a book written by Jane Seymour. Jane was being interviewed about her book and she quoted her mother, who was once interred at a Japanese POW camp, told her: “If you’re feeling really down, the thing to do is to go help someone.”

I think that what you are doing, is showing exactly that.

I bow to you…and have linked this blog to your feature at Gaia Networking.
