What was the biggest adventure of your past year?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 31, 2008:
Taking an enormous leap of faith, quitting my dead-end job and enrolling in college. I have lived my life on the border of failure, with no resources due to my lack of education. Of course, suffering from high-functioning autism didn't help matters any. But I have worked hard to overcome my disability, with the support of my Buddhist friends and family, and now am thrilled to be a part of academia at last! I have finished my first semester with a 3.8 GPA, made the Dean's list, and am looking forward to the rest of my college career with great joy and excitement. Nam Myoho Renge Kyo!
